Blue Origin’s Goddard to launch again

It seems the private space industry has truly begun.  Elon Musk’s SpaceX plans to attempt another launch very soon and Blue Origin’s Goddard space craft will attempt to make another flight in the coming days, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The FAA issued the Blue Origin Notice to Airmen last night around 6 p.m.  The launch window is set between Thursday, March 22, and Tuesday, March 27, up to 10,000 feet.

This is the same altitude ceiling given in Blue Origin’s last NOTAM, and the craft flew 285 feet in the air.  Look for Goddard to go higher this time if all goes well.

Text of the new NOTAM is as follows:

FDC 7/6132 ZAB TX.. TEMPORARY FLIGHT RESTRICTION, VAN HORN, TX. 1300-1800 DLY EFFECTIVE 0703221300 UTCUNTIL 0703271800 UTC.
