China to research global warming

Associated Press reports China will spend more to research global warming but lacks the money and technology to significantly reduce the greenhouse gas emissions that are worsening the problem.

The China Daily newspaper said Beijing’s temperature hit 55 degrees Fahrenheit on Saturday — a 30-year high for the date — prompting an early spring, with frozen lakes melting and trees blooming.

Better late than never I guess.
