New Rocket Is Progressing, NASA Reports

New York Times writes that the new rocket that will replace the space shuttle for carrying crews to the International Space Station is on schedule and within weight guidelines.

The current plans call for a test flight of Ares I with a dummy second stage in April 2009, with the first full scale test of the entire rocket in 2012.
